Unbound cannot guarantee boarding or admission. Airlines and border authorities make the final decision. Always confirm with the official authority before you travel.
Unbound is information about entry requirements, not legal or immigration advice, and not a government service. It is only as current as the date shown beside each requirement.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party scripts or fonts. Every file is served from this site.
- A readiness check sends the journey — countries, airports, dates, purpose, and your passport’s country and expiry date — and the answers to any questions the rules asked. It never asks for your name or passport number, and nothing from a check is saved as a trip.
- To send a check, your browser creates a random key and a session, kept in this browser only. They identify the browser’s requests, not you.
- The site remembers, in your browser, whether you’ve seen the story. Nothing else is stored about your visit.
- Beside Unbound’s own answer, a check can show two labelled readings from elsewhere — a commercial visa dataset, and a model searching the web. Where they are switched on, our server sends them the route (and, for the web search, the journey) to ask; your browser never contacts them.
- Our servers log each request’s address, as any web server does, to keep the service running and to limit abuse.
The waitlist
If you join early access, request a destination or send a business enquiry, we keep your email address and what you told us — a destination, a month, an organisation, a note. We use it only to write to you about that. We don’t sell it, share it or add you to anything else, and we delete it when you ask: write to [email protected]. It is the only place we keep an email address as written; app accounts keep a one-way hash instead.
Shared readiness links
A traveller can share a link from the app. It shows four things — the destination, the dates, the readiness and when it was checked — and never their documents or their to-do list. It stops working when they withdraw it or the trip ends.
The app
The Unbound app has its own privacy screen describing exactly what leaves your phone. In short: documents stay on the device, encrypted; there is no password; and signing in is optional.
