What to do

  1. File the Thailand Digital Arrival Card onlineFree. You need your passport, flight and first night’s accommodation. The Immigration Bureau says the form can be filed up to 72 hours before entry, and that a connection which does not pass through immigration does not need one at all.
  2. Keep the confirmation with your travel documentsSave it offline as well as in your inbox — airport wifi is not a plan.
