Taiwan’s visitor-visa application asks for proof of stable finances (a bank statement); no amount is set at the border. Carry it.
- Carry enough money for your stay, and be ready to show it
Onward ticket
Hold a confirmed onward or return air or sea ticket: Taiwan requires it for TAC entry and for a visitor visa.
